Challenge:

Users were often overlooking declaring customs for international shipments. We could not make this process mandatory, so my challenge was creating UI copy that would gain users attention and urgency, asking users to be descriptive in their declarations, and create documentation that went into greater detail for specific custom codes.

Solution:

Creating a tool-tip banner that calls out which items need to be declared and adding UI copy below text fields giving further direction, with links to learn more.
